HydraMed dual action eye drops are a unique preservative-free solution for dry eyes. They combine the unique lubricant tamarind seed polysaccharide (TSP) with the more established sodium hyaluronate, also found naturally. Tamarind seed polysaccharide (TSP) is a new lubricant, found to act like mucin (the mucous layer) in tears and replicate its sticky, mucoadhesive action. This action allows the tears to remain on the surface of the eye for longer, reducing discomfort by keeping the cornea hydrated. Combined with the established and natural lubricant, sodium hyaluronate, both ingredients work together to effectively soothe and lubricate the eyes for longer. Each HydraMed dropper bottle holds 10ml, can be used for 90 days and is suitable for contact lens wearers.
